Thankyou Negar Mottahedeh for the amazing photos of reworked Abu Graib
photos on display in a Tehran freeway.

 

Just a thought that many others may have had: My immediate reading of
the caption 'Today Iraq' is that it immediately suggests in my mind
'Tomorrow Iran'. That is, what we see inflicted upon Iraq by the US
today is planned for us next. This is reinforced by the caption
'Yesterday Palestine'. It's all part of the one strategy and we are
next.

 

I believe the 'Dirooz Filistin' image is actually a widely reported
photograph of a Palestinian father and his dying son who had been hit by
Israeli gunfire. The red 'carpet' may actually be a representation of
his blood. Interestingly, in trying to trace the particulars of that
story I googled 'father son dying Israeli gunfire' and came up with
thousands of responses.
